How does it square up with being most reliable vehicles according to consumer reports?

Or Hyundai EVs breaking down 10x more often than worst ICE cars according to ADAS.

I'm seeing them at #9. Maybe you meant most reliable electric vehicle (Model 3)? Their average rating is dragged down a lot by the cybertruck which CR says is a bit of a lemon.

I like these. Also some way to rotate the pot while holding modifier key would be pretty cool.

So you would replace an obvious and one handed control with an arcane two handed gesture? Why?

Cool is generally bad in UX design.

If that removes the knobs that are can be lost and cost significantly to implement - yes.

Maybe it can be implemented in a single hand gesture. But the point is pot or pan can be control interface itself.

Changing temperature takes 0.5 seconds on Tesla. Yes you take eyes off the road. For 0.5 seconds.

You can buy buttons if you have disability that makes it difficult to use touchscreens.

For decades, people have been able to change the temperature in their vehicles in less time and without taking their eyes off the road. Why defend an obvious regression?

Tesla fans sung the praises of other stupid ideas like the Highland's indicator buttons and the Plaid's 'yoke', both of which were silently shelved after buyer dissatisfaction.

Yoke was a mistake for sure (and FWIW works perfectly in Cybertruck because of steer by wire), but most people liked indicator buttons. The reversal is purely because social media pressure by people who never tried it.

> Why defend an obvious regression?

Because it's not a regression. Whenever I use my older cars with manual controls I see no benefit. Most of the time I still have to look at it - it has a dial or little screen to know what exact temperature you are setting.

> Toyota

Gotta be kidding me.

The touchscreen on my 2010 Prius stopped responding, I could still use the "Voice Control" button on the steering wheel. Waiting 10 seconds each time to navigate the menu by voice, hoping it heard me clearly each time.

Surely voice commands can replace buttons and touch interfaces in 2026!

Are t-bills accessible for anyone, especially loaded with crypto?

AFAIK there are coins that pay better (some give you exposure to t-bills).

Incentive is would be research forever without any results. See how expensive NASA programs were.

They went to the moon - that's not no results.

Would be trivial to provide links to this content.

Personally I've never seen anything like this.

Search for user h0wlingmutant

Huh? Nothing appears.

Once again - links are trivial to share.

Otherwise this is hearsay.

They meant howlingmutant0 but I don't know which posts they refer to

The ones I reported, I deleted the report emails so I can't help you at this moment. I don't know why you're surprised - you can go looking yourself and find examples

Yeah I went thru his media. There was some backwards swastika that someone drawn on a synagogue. People were mocking the fact that idiots can't even draw that correctly.

Are you seriously asking for links to CSAM?

Context was nazi content. Apparently X is swimming in it. Yet nobody can provide evidence.

I quickly searched and here are a few that showed up immediately

https://x.com/UpwardChanging posts Hitler content, 14 words, black sun graphics, swastikas, antisemitic content etc. 21k followers

https://x.com/hvitrulfur supportively reposts swastika content, white supremacism, anti-black racism, islamophobia, 14 words

1. Can you point to exact posts? I saw one swastika somewhere deep in media. It's a description of what swastika is - no different from wikipedia article.

2. Seems like case of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_guilt which spills into racism/white-supremacy.

3. This is literally art. Not my taste of course.

OP's claim was X is swimming in hate speech.

p.s. communist symbols are banned in a lot of the world too (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bans_on_communist_symbols), yet this is ok for bluesky:

Which suggests we should get into robotics. That was my conclusion too just yesterday while thinking about this.

Somebody needs to be able to repair our new overlords until they can repair themselves.

Yes, labour unions are immoral. Curtailing growth (especially in industries where it can prevent unnecessary death) for your personal needs is plain evil. I say that as someone who is both very stressed by pressure to sustain my family while cushy life is slipping away.
