The problem about this, for me, is discoverability. I have loads of hobbies that I'd love to engage with the communities of, but how do you engage with servers of that size without actively being invited to them?
I think their point is that it's not clear to someone with 0% Python experience which of the /many/ different ways of doing things (like string interpolation) is the "correct" / idiomatic way.
I'd be very curious to know more about the shortcut you describe. This workflow would work incredibly well for me. I already have my notes synced via syncthing, and capture with Orgzly Revived, but auto-transcribed captures would be a gamechanger.
I keep the inbox.org on dropbox, that keeps it synced.
The shortcut is called “longdictate” because previously I had a version that didnt require me to press stop after finishing my thought. Instead it was set to stop recording when I stopped talking. But it misfired too frequently, cutting me off, so I added the button.
I imagine there must be something similar to iphone shortcuts on Android?
Butter emulsifies into a sauce just from the residual heat of the spaghetti (and some mechanical action - stirring, pan flip, etc)
Oil needs a bit more help, otherwise it's just grease on noodles. The starchy water the pasta was cooked in can do most of the heavy lifting there, but the addition of garlic helps too.
In high humidity environments you need the sunlight to help dry the clothing quickly enough so that bacteria doesn't start to form in the cotton weave. Because even if it gets dry, the minute you begin to sweat wearing that item, it'll stink.
In low humidity your cotton clothing will dry quickly enough that this doesn't happen.
Some of my stuff can take quite a while to dry still though. Particularly if the drying rack is very full and it's cold in the apartment. For everything to fully dry sometimes takes 24 hours.
I definitely disagree given that Marcus Aurelius was writing in an era where "man" in the written word was synonymous with "human", in any context. If you or I said "man" in this time period, certainly we would attribute it as you say.
From upgrading today from 28.2 to 29.1 on my Intel 2019 Macbook Pro on Ventura, the macport one you linked felt snappier and far less stuttery than emacs-plus installed with the --with-native-comp flag enabled.
