I imagine they will have thought of this — there's probably an authorization step like Face/Touch ID or entering your Apple ID password.

Sorry to hear.

Check out Crucial Conversations (https://www.amazon.com/Crucial-Conversations-Talking-Stakes-...). It's a framework that I've found immensely helpful.

If interested, I do recommend you read the book, but you can still get something out of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFaXx3pgaxM (it's a summary masquerading as a review).

Yeah, the book is really good. But also only useful in really exceptional situations. (Speaking about workplaces, only in a toxic workplace there is use for it.)

David this looks fantastic. I can’t wait to play with it.

Just on the GDPR front, our DB also has customer data. We currently host on heroku. Does the data we pull in / process using retool go anywhere else except for where we point it?

No, your data never goes anywhere. You can deploy Retool and airgap it to prevent all inbound / outbound network connections. Then you can connect to it via a VPN.

I will reach out over email - thanks for the question!

I think I remember a Bleacher Report engineer talking about this on an Elixir podcast. They use it to power their push notifications and pride themselves in being consistently the fastest among their competitors.

I imagine adding a phone number to your Google account is more about Google having a particular phone number explicitly linked to an account for their information graph rather than for security reasons.

Does anyone other than those evaluating applications (i.e. YC staff) have access to these applications, the ideas they contain or any prototypes which may have been submitted?

Love the landing page. Really refreshing.

Like Omegle but with a more noble goal - less creepiness.

I really admired the selflessness of "dick feed" and "A Helper Cell". In a game where it seems that only being the biggest counts, these guys were helping the biggest get bigger at their detriment. Kudos.

Or they just didn't really understand the game and loved the swallowing animation.

It's the same, just later. He probably feels he's learned from his previous mistakes and can do it better this time.

Plus, I think Milk was a way of getting into Google. Build anything, get picked up by G-Ventures.

This time, he's just doing it for himself because he likes building products. There really is no end game.
