As of 00:00 CEST, twitter appears to be suffering some kind of outage [0], though this isn't yet shown on their status page.

It's down for me, too. Actually, not completely down, I get this error code as a result of all their XHR calls:

> {code: 353, message: "This request requires a matching csrf cookie and header."}

Yeah, my third party messenger tool (beeper) threw that same error. I'm guessing something went wrong in a deploy. Hopefully they'll roll it back soon.

I can still view pages when logged out, but trying to log in on an incognito window also fails (I didn't look at the console tho)

I find it very funny that the site scrapes Twitter to detect user complaints of downtime, so when Twitter is down there's going to be less downtime reports than usual

it's so funny how everytime services are down, their status page is like everything is normal here. I understand that there are internal politics around such things but still...

Where do I go to find out when Twitter is down when Twitter is down?

https://api.twitterstat.us/ (but of course everything is green)

https://news.ycombinator.com/newest is pretty reliable, someone could build a down detector for the whole internet based off its data.

Hacker News apparently.

This seems to affect users from the EU, but not from the US.
