How do you convert that to a figure estimating how many more people are alive today than would otherwise have been? (I mean, including ones who would not have been born?)

It also doesn't control for people who would not have died had vaccines not been a thing. What if Jim Jones had died of tuberculosis before creating Jonestown? So many lives extinguished because he was vaccinated.
