i think the idea that no one wants it is off

even if the models do not get better there is so much demand even just b2b

we have all these problems we can fix but we are totally limited by availability

cloud providers are overwhelmed by the demand - you can see this in how stingy they are with rate limits and how they don't even talk to you unless you've already spent a lot with them



If what you're saying is true, how come both Microsoft and Amazon are slowing down capital expenditure?

Yes... there are a lot of expensive efforts of dubious actual value under way. Basically every company is trying to see if they can replace workers with AI, driving this demand. I've had insight into several of these, and from what I've seen, not a lot of people need to worry about their jobs in the next few years.

Outside of generating React codebases, what are problems that, thus far, as of today, have been fixed by LLMs?


Yet the AI companies are still spending far more money than they earn. Something doesn't add up here.


Growth phase aka market capture via price dumping. People wouldn't be using AI that much if it costed like what it takes to build and run one.
