the only place i see any interest in rust is HN or linux kernel lol, while some highly vocal people are raging about rust taking over the world, the rest of the world is moving along without it. just an observation but it seems like a storm in a tea cup.

Ignoring the elephant in the room just for a second: C++ left gradually more and more, and more performance on the table and eventually somebody is going to stroll past and take it - that was Rust and sure, the C++ people are angry "No, that's ours, we were coming back to get that". Were you though?
